* Concerning the indicated mass in running order, this is a standard value defined in the type-approval procedure. Due to manufacturing tolerances, the actual weighed operating mass may deviate from the value indicated above. Deviations of up to ± 5% of the mass in operating order are permitted by law and possible. The allowable margin in kilograms is indicated in parentheses after the mass in running order. In the case of the weight defined by the manufacturer for optional equipment, it is a calculated value determined for each type and each installation, by which ERIBA defines the maximum weight available for the optional equipment installed in the factory. The limitation of optional equipment is intended to ensure that the minimum load capacity, i.e. the free mass prescribed by law for luggage and accessories subsequently installed on vehicles delivered by ERIBA, is also actually available for extra charge. The actual weight of your vehicle ex works can only be determined by weighing at the end of the line. If the weighing should exceptionally reveal that, despite the limitation of the optional equipment, the actual additional load capacity is lower than the minimum load capacity due to an upward permissible weight deviation, we will then proceed, before upon delivery of the vehicle, to a joint check with you and your partner, to find out whether we need to overload the vehicle, reduce the number of seats or remove optional equipment. The technically permissible maximum laden mass of the vehicle as well as the technically permissible maximum axle mass may not be exceeded.
